Comparable to Microsoft Office, but generally easier to use, Star Office is a robust productivity suite. It includes a word processor, spreadsheet, graphics program, presentation software, POP3 and IMAP e-mail, an address book, a simple database, and more. It can import from and export to all popular file formats, including those of MS Windows applications. The free StarOffice is now available as the OpenOffice open-source suite from OpenOffice.org.
